Tenuta Regina
The farm "Tenuta Regina" is very close to the sea, about halfway between Venice and Trieste.
It extends on an area of 182 hectares with wheat, maize, soya bean, sugar beet, grapes and fruit, following the principles of the organic farm.
The "Foce del fiume Stella" nature reserve and the "Laguna di Marano" border the farm and contribute to make it a site especially suitable for people interested in nature.
From 2005 "Tenuta Regina" collaborates with WWF.
In the farm there are various apartments; their names are those of typical birds of the lagoon: Airone, Masorini and Folaghe.
At guests' disposal there is a swimming pool; they hire mountain bikes and it's possible to practise bird-watching.
