Il Fiordaliso
It's in Azzano, hilly hamlet with 350 inhabitants, 5 kilometres from Asti.
The house dates back to the beginning of the past century and was restored maintaining its peculiarities.
On first floor there are three bedrooms, each one with a bathroom and a terrace viewing the valley. The furniture is mainly made of the old furniture of the farmhouse and the linen are those of the family, and are embellished with handmade embroideries.
Breakfast is served in veranda with biscuits, cakes and home-made jams.
The dining room is on ground floor, in three little rooms and in a panoramic veranda.
The cooking respects tradition but, at the same time, is innovative and original.
The wine cellar has a niche, dug in the tuff in ancient times, to preserve fine bottles.
